2008 Semester Sessions 2008 Spring Semester Session I - January 26, 2008 - March 15, 2008 2008 Spring Semester Session II - April 5, 2008 - May 24, 2008 2008 Summer Semester - June 14, 2008 - August 09, 2008 2008 Fall Semester - August 30, 2008 - October 18, 2008 First Day Of Class If you have any application forms to process, come early to handle such matters. Also any textbooks which have not been received may be purchased at that time. All students will meet for a welcome to the new semester and room assignments. Repeating Courses Once you have successfully completed a School of Wisdom and Higher Learning Bible Institute course, you may "sit-in" and repeat the course in future semesters free of charge. One must pre-register for the course; and providing there is adequate seating, the student will be allowed enrollment. Student Registration
The earlier you register the better we can serve you. Books must be ordered and classroom assignments made. Classes may be canceled because of low enrollment only to discover several late enrollments which would have kept the class from being canceled had the students registered at the proper time. Re-Admission A student who has studied at The School of Wisdom and Higher Learning Bible Institute, but has been out of school for one year is required to update their application. A student who has been out for more than two years is required to complete a new application form. Class Cancellation If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, the Instructor will be notified one week prior to class starting date. Late Registration Permission to register later must be obtained from the Academic Dean. Changes in Personal Data Students wishing to change personal date (name, address, etc.) contained in their school records should contact the Registrar's Office to complete the appropriate forms. Because correct personal data is vital to the student's record for mailing grades, registration, appointment notices and similar matters, students are urged to have their records updated when these changes occur. Student records are kept securely and the information is regarded as confidential. Class Attendance Good Christian stewardship dictates that a student makes full use of the resources and opportunities to prepare for Christians service. All classes should start on time. Attendance for each class will be taken on a class roster. The following symbols will be used to record attendance. P = Present A = Absent T = Tardy E = Excessive Absence Absences Due To Emergencies When participation in an authorized Church activity is required, a student should contact the instructor. Requirements For Courses Graduation requirements are subject to change. But all changes will be communicated. The responsibility for meeting graduation requirements lies with the student. Program Checking The School of Wisdom and Higher Learning Bible Institute checks to see that the student has met all the requirements for graduation including the total credits required. Course Of Instruction The Programs listed in this section are those which have been scheduled for offering during the 2008 Calendar Year. Consult the official class schedule and addendum published each semester for a listing of courses to be offered during a given semester, since the frequency of offering is determined as a program needs to dictate. There is no assurance that a given course will be offered every year even if it is scheduled to be offered. The School of Wisdom and Higher Learning Bible Institute offer two year scholastic programs leading to a: Non-Minister's Certificate (12 completed courses required):
